Max number of transmitters which can be configured?

Hello,

Just wondering if there’s a limit to the number of Transmitters which can be configured on a single gateway?

What would the repercussions look like if we had too many?

Thanks,
Emil

There is no hard limit. But, you need to make sure that you system is sized appropriately for the load it will be under. I’d recommend taking a look at this document to see if you really need a lot of Transmitter definitions: MQTT Transmission Transmitters and Tag Trees - MQTT Modules for Ignition 8.x - Confluence. Also note each valid transmitter definition will result in at least one MQTT client.
