Reference Tag Timestamp

I have reference tags that are looking at MQTT Engine tags and the timestamps on some of the reference tags don’t match the timestamp on the Engine tags.

I have a reference tag with a timestamp of 2023-09-11 3:16:43, the Engine tag timestamp is 2023-09-07 3:34:42, and the server timestamp is 2023-09-11 2:09:45.

Are the reference tags supposed to have the same timestamp as the Engine tags?

Jacob,

What is the source of these Reference Tags? OPC, PLC or Edge Gateway? Check the timeclock at the source.

Dan

The Engine tags are OPC tags on an Ignition Edge system (using Transmission).

I pass the current time as a tag to the server with the tags. it shows 2023-09-11 2:27:16 which is correct, the Edge system is in the mountain time zone, as well as the server.

Jacob,

I think opening a Support Ticket (support@cirrus-link.com) will probably be the most efficient route to the investigation.

I’ll have you turn up some loggers at the Edge and at Engine. But I’ll put that request in my reply to you in that ticket as you open it.
