It appears that the refresh options under “Transmission Info/Transmitters” do not do full refresh of tag info. It looks like it pulls some cached info for any prior birthed tags, although it will add in any new tags. The “Transmission Control/Refresh” does appear to repull everything. Is there an option to get the ones under Transmission Info to do the full refresh or is this by design. (This one is on MQTT Transmission 4.0.22)
Sounds like this could be a bug. What do you mean by ‘pulls some cached info’? Are you talking about tag properties for existing tags?
Yes, custom properties on existing tags. Even more complicated is it’s a custom property bound to a UDT parameter. {UDT parm}
And… UDTs in transmission are configured to convert to standard tags.
Can you open a support ticket at support@cirrus-link.com so we can work through this? It would be helpful if you could provide specific configuration details as well as a exported set of tags that we can use to reproduce the issue.
Just to close the loop on this - everything appears to work properly with the latest version of the modules (v4.0.22).
